That's precisely the kind of perk-for-politicos I approve of - it costs absolutely nothing, and has absolutely no benefits to the holder beyond bragging rights when in the company of like-mindedly awful folk.
Perhaps we could give all our ex-MPs the title of "Grand Vizier and Supreme Spiritual Commander", and cut their pensions by £5k in recompense?
