The Darling Campaign is now in full swing:
Utopia, Easter Road, Leith
The Plough Inn at Finstock, Oxfordshire
The Gardener's, Lewes
Two as yet unspecified pubs in Lewes other than The Gardener's.
The Queen Anne, Bolton
Any others?
Apparently, the Facebook site has 115 members already. More blogs are carrying the flag as well:
The Greek, Dodge, Toque, A Man In A Shed, J. Arthur, The Umpire, DK, Wonko, Curly and Massie.
It has also made the City Diary of the Times, one of the campaign has been in contact with Al Murray to try and get him on board, Westbourne UKIP are onside and Alex Johnstone MSP is in favour.
From little acorns, mighty oaks grow.

I have had the unscrupulous toerag banned from three pubs in Denbighshire already. More to follow.
Warmest regards
The Orcman
The three pubs referred to above are the Castle Inn, Rhuddlan the New Inn, Rhuddlan and the Swan in St Asaph
Alex Johnstone MSP has been interviewed on Radio 5 Live today on the subject. His press release is also printed in the Press and Journal and Sky news have also been in touch. It's gaining momentum!

Mentioned in PMQs just now. The campaign has reached the cockpit of the nation...
Why stop there. Why don't all pubs/shops/bars/restaurants etc ban ALL labour MP's as a protest at the way they are systematically raping this country and our pockets to feather their own nests. The only way they will recognise the depth of feeling in this country is if it affects them personally - otherwise they just don't give a toss.
See there Mr Anonymous...You've taken that too far..
I think we'll just vote them out, rather than your suggestion.
Agreed, Panenka's Chip. Agreed.

I bet that the dinner with President Sarcastic tonight won't be "dry"! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2008/03/25/nsarko825.xml
Ban 'em all I say!
I am a licence holder for the YHA in south West of England. I would like to join your Ban the Bugger but don't think head office would get involved. However I have informed my friends who also run a pub (my local) and another in Herefordshire. They will be in touch with you. If I can. I will email all the Pubs in my area.
Mike. Licence holder 1426. Herefordshire
Add yesterdays Daily Telegraph to your list.
Well done, your now infamous.
Why just Alistair Darling? If every pub barring Darling had posters barring local Labour politucians as well it would certainly put the pressure on Darling from them as they get criticised locally for supporting this.
Believe me. There's one thing that will make politicians put pressure on their bosses. It's local criticism of themselves and the threat of losing their seats.
